Pretty typical kind of mall..apparently purple is the new black b/c EVERYTHING in the windows was in purple and all the italianos are lovin it too... So if you wanna be ahead of the trends pick up a purple sweater or even better..some purple pants!! BJ is checkin' it out now..he's thinking purple zip up sweater with light purple argyle pattern..pretty metro if you ask me..but we are in Italy!

We are switching towns too, we've been staying in Barletta and Brian has covered the whole city by foot while I've been at work. He's found that the city has the nicest, friendliest people around, but the town is still a little dumpy and too modern. We are going to head up to a hotel in Manfredonia which is right next to the Gargano National Park. http://www.panoramio.com/photo/13310472
After a week or so there, we're gonna try staying at a hotel in Trani, near our new apt. There's a new hotel, Mare', that I want to check out. I'm gonna see if Alfonso can hook us up with a room at a cheaper rate since it is 300 euros a night..don't think boeing would be down for that..
http://www.mareresort.it/it/home/ chchchcheck it out, the rooftop view in one of the pics has our apartment rooftop in it!
As for halloween, my coworker who lives in Trani is throwing a party and Chris Hayes is partying down in Grottaglie...not sure if we will make it to either...soo much partying before we left I'm thinking about just relaxin this weekend..

Leaving Seattle
Well, after several going away parties, lots of good-byes and packing, and some tears we've finally arrived in Rome. Our flights over went great! I watched a total of 5 movies, 2 of which were horrible, drank approximately a bottle and a half of wine, and unfortunately did not sleep a wink. Brian on the other hand was hitting the courvasier and, I believe, maker's mark and took a nice long nap. We flew over on NWA which is the worst. AirFrance was waaaaaaaaay better when we flew over last month. We connected through Amsterdam and had some panacochen (pancakes) and heinikens. The dutch definately run a tight ship! Cleanest airport I've ever seen! Luckily, all 8 of our checked bags made it safely to Rome. So now, we are staying at the Rome Hilton. Slept the rest of today and now it's 11:30pm and i'm wide awake..oh jet lag. Time to drink some of the wine! Open mini bar dude! :D Ciao!
